April 25, 2025 Fourth Friday - The Outlaw Jazz Combo, Silly Dog Art Glass and Wines from Lingua Franca. Sisters Oregon

Please join us for a not-to-be-missed fun-filled evening of live music and Seriously Great Art.

Makin’ it Local welcomes Sisters’ own Outlaw Jazz Combo for an evening of music. Outlaw Jazz Combo is a group of five high schoolers from Central Oregon who love to play jazz music. The group is relatively new but has already done some impressive work, including performances on KPOV's Center Stage and at the West Salem Jazz Festival, among other events. They enjoy playing a variety of jazz styles, including Latin, Bebop, Blues, Hard Bop, and more. In addition to live music, from April 25th to May 22nd, Makin' it Local is featuring an artist showcase of new creations by Cheryl Chapman of Silly Dog Art Glass, a Central Oregon artist who creates reverse enamel-painted glass.  

Besides great music and art, the Fourth Friday Art Walk starts with a limited availablity and special pouring of Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Lingua Franca (Dundee), followed by Oregon wines from Cardwell Hill Cellars, Long Walk Vineyard, Stoler Family Estate, and Sparkling Wine from Sokol Blosser, light hors d'oeuvres, Deschutes Brewery IPA, and Makin’ it Local’s “famous” gingersnaps cookies,
