October Branches has arrived, an open-edition fine-art print by Susan Luckey Higdon, just in time to make holiday gift-giving a breeze (and infinitely more beautiful).
When asked about October Branches, Susan shared: “One of my favorite things about autumn is looking up into the crab apple trees. The small green apples and bright yellow-orange leaves stand out vividly against the sky. Sparrows usually dart through the branches, adding a cheerful touch. Painting all that detail can be tedious, so I try to keep my brushwork loose and let the negative spaces keep the scene feeling fresh.”
